Partner Event: Youth Adaptive Program

In partnership with Woodbury Parks and Recreation, youth with special needs will visit Belwin's ADA accessible trails and wetlands and explore ponds and streams to discover what is living in these watery habitats. Using nets and buckets, the class will try to capture frogs as well as a variety of insects and other macro invertebrates. Taught by Jim Rue, licensed special education teacher with more than 18 years of experience at Belwin Outdoor Science.

Limited to 8 participants with special needs; must be students entering grades 3–6. $30/student with adult chaperone.
