Annual Meeting & Fall Event

Paul Huttner is Minnesota Public Radio’s chief meteorologist. During his award-winning career, he has worked at TV and radio stations in Minneapolis, Tucson, and Chicago. Paul is a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul and holds a bachelor's degree in geography with an emphasis in meteorology. He is one of the most distinguished and recognized meteorologists in Minnesota, and we are very excited that he will be speaking at this year's Annual Meeting & Fall Event.

The Annual Meeting & Fall Event is also your chance to visit the Belwin Conservancy during the height of fall color. You are invited to come and take a quiet walk on your own, join in on a tour, listen to Paul Huttner's talk, or to participate in our Annual Meeting.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting is one of the most important ways that we communicate with our members during the year. It is an opportunity for you to get an update on the Belwin Conservancy's work for the past year, to give us your feedback, and to ask questions. It's been a big year for the Belwin Conservancy and we're anxious to see as many members as possible at this year's Annual Meeting. Paul Huttner's talk will directly follow the meeting.

As we have for the past several years, we'll be running van tours to our Lake Edith Natural Area. See what's new with our oak savanna restoration—and see this gorgeous spot alive with fall color.

We will also be running nature walks around the Education Center. These walks, led by naturalist Lynette Anderson will focus on seasonal events in nature, and the fall bird migration.
