Bowhunt at Belwin
In the interests of ecological management, and to control the size of the resident deer herd, Belwin will be conducting a controlled bow-hunt on the property. There will be deer hunts occurring on Belwin property October 26th-28th and November 16th-18th with the possibility of a third hunt in December.
These hunts will be conducted by the Metro Bowhunters Resource Base (MBRB) and are not open to the public. Nobody but MBRB hunters are permitted to hunt on Belwin property.
MBRB hunters are skilled archers and must pass annual safety and accuracy tests. They have a history of safe, successful and well-managed hunts in many metro-area parks. For information on joining the MBRB and participating in future similar hunts, please contact them directly: http://www.mbrb.org.
