Membership

The Belwin Conservancy is a nonprofit organization and the annual support that our members provide is one of our most important sources of income. Through donations, our members ensure that we can do our important work year after year.

Thanks to our members, we are able protect land, restore endangered native ecosystems, and inspire our connection to the natural world. Over the years, this support has allowed us to build a protected preserve nearly 1,400 acres in size, bring over a quarter-million students experience the wonders of this place, and restore over 500 acres of native tallgrass prairie.

All Belwin Conservancy memberships are based on the calendar year and expire on December 31st.

Membership Benefits

The main benefit to being a member of the Belwin Conservancy is knowing that you are supporting our work. Still, we enjoy thanking our members with a unique slate of activities intended to provide an opportunity to come out and experience this place firsthand.

Basic Members ($25 - $99)

All members of the Belwin Conservancy are invited to events held at our education center including a winter event, a spring event, and a fall event which includes our Annual Meeting. These events provide an excellent opportunity to get outside and explore the preserve at different times of the year. During our annual meeting, we like to share what's been keeping us busy for the past year. We also want your feedback!

All members are also issued members cards good for discounts at local businesses. The cards also identify you as someone who is making a difference in their community.

Supporting Members ($100 - $499)

Supporting members are invited to participate in additional scheduled tours and workshops held throughout the summer and fall. These events are intended to provide an opportunity to get to know the preserve and our staff on a more personal level. These tours include Bison Safaris, bird walks, prairie tours, and more.

Sustaining Members ($500 - $999)

Sustaining members have the option of scheduling a private tour with a member of the Belwin Conservancy staff at a time of their choosing. These tours will take you behind-the-scenes and show you parts of our preserve that you may have never seen before!

Benefactor Members ($1000 and above)

Our benefactor members are invited to join us for a private excursion on the Bison Buggy. You may bring up to six guests (7 total) for an adventure you won't soon forget with the bison.

Installment Gifts

You can also join the Belwin Conservancy via regular installments. For a monthly gift of as little as $8, you will be counted as a supporting member eligible to participate in Bison Safaris, bird walks and more.
